About Me
Born
in 1970, I’ve spent a lifetime learning and practicing
artwork. Though I didn’t always know what direction I
was heading, looking back, the path was obvious. From
different jobs, travels, and all kinds of interesting,
life changing choices I have knowingly and unknowingly
followed a path right into my career as an artist.
Staying open to all the possibilities in my life has
been a challenge and has been incredibly educational. I
try to look at my choices as “learning lessons”. These
“learning lessons” have molded me into the artist I am
today.
Through various jobs I have acquired skills or "learning
lessons" that are now utilized in my work. I have become
a "jack of all trades" from computers to construction
and have adapted these skills to enhance my artistry.
Just
as career opportunities have helped to mold me and
develop my art, traveling has also given me a deeper
sense of awareness to my surroundings which is reflected
in my art as well. Throughout my life, I have been given
extensive opportunities to view our world and our
nation.
Travel
has instilled pride within me in our beautiful country
and as a citizen of the United States of America. It’s
easy to get caught up in the problems of our country,
but we have these problems because we are free. I love
being free! ...to express myself in so many ways, but
especially through my art and graphics.
Life
choices, job opportunities, and travel have all affected
my art in one way or another. I'm starting to have fun
taking on new
challenges including interviews, portraits, and...
And Then Some!! It’s
been a crazy journey so far I can’t wait to see what’s
next!
