About Me
As I mature in my paintings, I move farther and farther away from pretty pictures, not from beauty, but from shallowness. An artist has the ability and responsibility to expose truth, truth is not always pretty.
The installations I work on are all about fun; letting yourself be free to create and play and experience the moment.

Acrylic on Canvas
(2007)
In 1986 I was on a mountain in Washington with my family. We had brought stale bread which we held in our hands. Wild birds would swoop down and land on us to eat the bread. I depicted my grandpa with the birds to remember that day.
